Although instant bronzers aren’t news at all, this product is kind of different and I shall show you why. This is Time Bomb Holiday in a Bottle.

This is about a “quick hit of sunshine” without the sun and when it is first dispensed it appears as a pale greyish cream. Once it is blended into the skin, the creamy fluid’s micro pigments burst and start adjusting to your skin tone to give a natural looking bronzy warmth to the skin, enhancing its natural colour.
It comes in 2 oil-free and paraben-free shades, Sunkissed (lighter) and Sutanned (darker), although both claim to tone with any skin.

Although Time Bomb Holiday in a Bottle doesn’t have any coverage in it, I actually do find it rather complexion enhancing and perfecting and I think I could definitely get away with just a touch of concealer and skip foundation with this. This is pretty much how I feel about a natural tan, although I haven’t had one of those in a long time!
Here are the before and after shots using Time Bomb Holiday in a Bottle in Sunkissed, the lighter shade:

I think that it is complexion enhancing is quite an important point with this product, as I find that gel and stain formula bronzers tend to magnify any imperfections rather than minimize them.
I imagine that Holiday in a Bottle would layer well over foundation as well, or even mix into other base products pre-application, to allow an even more subtle colour effect and to add warmth to paler products. I shall have to try that.
I really like this and it is definitely a fast-track and safe option to a healthy looking beachy glow. Probably one of the nicer bronzing products I have tried, I have to say.
Time Bomb Holiday in a Bottle is out on 26th August at QVC and timebombco.com for £28.
