I do love my hair care products and I have been using the TIGI Bed Head Resurrection Kit for a few of weeks and getting on really well with it.

TIGI Bed Head Resurrection Kit Review

The TIGI Bed Head Resurrection line is for level 3 damaged hair which is basically hair that is dry, weak, brittle and generally damaged. This is the time of year that my hair tends to take a serious hit. The cold air seems to suck the moisture out of it.This has been made worse but a couple of transatlantic flights which I find take even more toll on my hair than they do on my skin. Anyone else notice that?

I have been using the Julien Farel Vitamin Restore Treatment every couple of weeks, but in between I have been using the TIGI Bed Head Resurrection Shampoo and Conditioner, which come in this kit, and they have been re-hydrating my hair a treat.

The first thing you notice about this duo is the scent. It is pretty fruity, in maybe a bit of an artificial way. I don’t love or hate the fragrance, but the men in my house love the way the shower smells after I use it. But then they are suckers for a fake strawberry milk drink!!

Scent aside, the products are really a pleasure to use. The shampoo feels instantly creamy and hydrating and as I rinse it out, my hair feels smoother immediately. It is formulated with ‘microshields’ which work to strengthen hair whilst it is cleansed and hydrated.

The conditioner is a super nourishing product that claims to target the driest areas of hair. To be fair, I only really apply to the mid lengths and ends where my hair is driest, so it doesn’t have to look very far! I simply leave it on for a couple of minutes and it rinses away very easily.

The duo leaves my hair soft, smooth, moisturised and shiny – so you can’t say fairer than that. I suffer with a very sensitive scalp and after a couple of weeks use I’ll need to take a break and use something SLS free, but I am quite happy with that. There are very few shampoos out there that don’t upset my scalp in fairness.

I also love the packaging of the TIGI Bed Head Resurrection Kit. With wording like ’emergency rehab’, and hair that needs ‘intervention’ it embraces a bit of humour and gets me smiling. It also looks really good – bright, clean and standout in the bathroom – which is where they’ll be staying as part of my line up for rotation. Highly recommended!

You can buy the kit at Look Fantastic for £16.10. The gift set packaging would make it a great stocking filler too.
