I gave you a peek at this new palette designed by Kendall Jenner in my most recent Beauty News Video and now I have lots of swatches and photos for you. Here’s the low down on The Estee Edit Eyeshadow Palette. Find it HERE in the US or HERE in the UK

So this is a pretty interesting eyeshadow palette first off because it is inspired by Estée Edit Guest Editor, Kendall Jenner and secondly because 2 of the shades offer something a little bit different.

They are called Shade Transfomers and use Black Light Technology for what is being described as a “glistening glow-in-the-dark effect.” In spite of the fact that I would rarely ever be in a situation where I could test out Black Light tech, I still find this exciting!

Apparently you can use the transformer shades in The Estee Edit Eyeshadow Palette on top of any shadow for a shimmery look for day time. And then if you were to be exposed to black light in the evening, it would all get even more exciting!

In terms of shades, there’s a lovely mix of metallics and neutrals with the lovely inclusion of a pop of two-tone purple. Apparently purple is Kendall’s favourite colour, so KJ fans will lap this up.

I really like the mix and tones of the shades – I love the shimmers and the matte orangey neutral is perfect. The only thing is that I think the pigmentation could be a little better in a few of the shadows.

I was really pleased with the look I created using the palette and was rather surprised at how much I liked the lighter of the purple shades – I just popped it into the centre of the lid using my fingertip and I think it worked really well.

Also, I love the packaging. I think the design on this collection is stunning.

The Estee Edit Eyeshadow Palette is $48 – pricey I think as I’d like to see better pigmentation in a couple of the shades, but definitely worth it for a Kendall fan or if you fancy a bit of glow in the dark action! Find it at Sephora HERE or in the UK HERE
