My Review of Sol de Janeiro Delicia Drench Body Butter

I really love Sol de Janeiro’s Bum Bum cream and for me it is the scent of summer. But I also know that some people find it too much. Some say that the scent is a touch too strong and overpowering, and if that’s you, then I think that Delicia Drench could be for you.

What’s really interesting is that this formula offers up a more subtle scent than some of the brand’s other products, however, I find that the fragrance lasts on the skin even longer. The Violet notes are soft and comforting, and the sweetness from Vanilla is a hint rather than a blast. It’s the perfect winter scent and feels like a hug.

The texture of the Sol de Janeiro Delicia Drench Body Butter is thicker than Bum Bum cream, but it melts down softly as you work it over the skin and sinks in really well for a richer formula. It feels so moisturising and that feeling of nourishment lasts and lasts – another reason that’s it a perfect winter product.
