If you are looking for a serious, heavy duty concealer that won’t move until you decide it should, then I think that the new Smashbox 24 Hour CC Spot Concealer could be the one. In fact, I don’t think I have ever come across anything quite as long lasting.
So the first thing that got me interested in this product was the extremely unique applicator. It is what Smashbox are terming a micro-precision applicator which is absolutely perfect for pinpoint concealing and very targeted coverage.
You can dab it on to the tiniest imperfection to achieve a completely flawless looking complexion. For longevity, it is best applied to bare skin – dab it on, wait a few seconds then blend. I have used it over foundation and find it super effective.
Smashbox 24 Hour CC Spot Concealer Formula
“Conceal around the clock with a dark-spot correcting concealer that’s practically permanent”. That got my attention. Surely a ‘practically permanent’ concealer is what we are all looking for?
- Instantly colour corrects and hides imperfections
- Visibly fades dark spots over time
- Photoset polymers with medical grade liquid bandage technology for 24 hour camouflage
- Transfer proof and water proof
- Sweat and humidity resistant
Smashbox 24 Hour CC Spot Concealer Swatches
I have the shades fair, and light medium.
It seems to instantly bond with the skin, and I would say not to leave it too long before you blend because after it has set, you’ll struggle to move.
I left these swatches on my arm for a good few hours and they still looked like this.
I had to remove the product with makeup remover. It works so well to cover pigmentation and is also great on some small blemishes I have. I love that the ingredients also work on dark spots over time.
Smashbox 24 Hour CC Spot Concealer will be available at Boots HERE very soon. It is currently saying stock coming soon, so make you you check back. It is £20 and comes in 6 shades.
