There is nothing like a bit of gold for the party season and Sleek is seriously one of my high street favourites. They always seem to do it right and have been getting it more right than ever recently. The Solstice palette is all kinds of lovely! It’s time to say hello to the Sleek Makeup 24K Gold Collection. Love it!

So this is a lovely concise collection with fabulous new matte packaging with gold accents. It is looking very luxe. There’s an eye palette, a highlighting palette and 3 lip glosses.

Sleek Makeup 24K Gold Collection – Gold Standard i-Lust Palette

The gorgeous i-Lust eyeshadow palette in Gold Standard is absolutely luscious.

From left to right we have Laurent, Coco, Margiela, Vera, Louis, & Vivienne:

Can you spot the inspiration?! Vivienne is a beautiful champagne shade, and Vera is a stunning gold. Louis and Margiela are rich cream shades that will work beautifully under the other powders as well as on their own. I think Coco is my favourite – it’s a super rich copper and Laurent is a lovely deep plummy brown with sparkle.

Sleek Makeup 24K Gold Collection – Midas Touch Highlighting Palette

This is a very pretty cool-toned highlighting palette for the face and body. There are some quite different shades in there but I am all for trying something new.

From left to right we have Solitaire, Tanzanite, Rhinestone and Cubic Zirconia:

Solitaire is a cream formula, and the 3 other shades are baked powders. Considering this is the 24K gold collection, there isn’t a lot of actual gold shades in here but they are really interesting. Cubic Zirconia makes a gorgeous highlight for the cupid’s bow and inner corners of the eyes. Tanzanite is a beautiful soft pinky glow.

These are non-sticky and lightweight and have a nice precise doe-foot wand for easy application.
