Rituals is one of those brands you know is going to provide you with great quality body care that smells incredible. The recently released Rituals of Sakura collection is dedicated to the annual Hanami ceremony in Japan which celebrates the short lived, fleeting beauty of the Sakura blossom.
The collection features the Rice Milk & Cherry Blossom scent. Strangely this is the only one I’ve tried from Rituals. I absolutely love the scent – it’s soft and feminine but it lingers beautifully.
I have a lovely selection from this collection to show you today which I’m sure you’ll love as much as I do.
Rituals Of Sakura Collection Body Scrub
I’ll start with my absolute favourite, the Celebrate Each Day Body Scrub which is somewhat of a revelation for me. I’m always skeptical about more runny, sugary types of body scrubs simply because I find they break down really quickly with water and lose their ability to really buff the dead skin cells away. I prefer salt/coffee scrubs as I find them more abrasive. Thankfully, this scrub is really gritty and polishes the skin beautifully. Even hard to buff areas such as the backs of my legs are incredibly soft and rejuvenated afterwards. Even now, days later, my skin feels incredible.
Rituals Of Sakura Collection Shower Gel
I’ve been teaming the scrub with the Foaming Shower Gel which has to be one of my favourite types of body wash. I find a little goes a long way with this, as the product expands and covers the entire body with a small pump. I find the scent is great for in the shower as my skin feels very clean and softly scented afterwards.
Rituals Of Sakura Collection Hand Lotion
I’m very particular about hand creams and ensuring my hands are in tip top condition. I work out with Kettle bells so my hands can become very dry and flakey pretty easy. The Hand Lotion is the perfect formula – not too wet nor too greasy and sinks into the skin quickly. There’s nothing worse than applying hand cream and half an hour later you’re still struggling at life. I love the scent and the bottle is a great size for having on my desk at work, though I can imagine it would run out pretty quickly!
