I have a very good track record with Rimmel foundations and I think they are a really good high street option. Somehow, I have never tried Wake Me Up and now is a brilliant time because it was been reformulated and relaunched for 2017. Here’s a look at the brand new Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation that features a new anti-fatigue formula. I have swatches of all the shades for you to check out. Buy it here
So if you are looking for a bit of a boost from your foundation without an expensive price tag, then keep on reading.

I am pretty obsessed with foundation. I think, on a personal level, it is the most interesting category of makeup and beauty because flawlessness is something I dream about. Also, I love how sophisticated high street foundations have become and you really can get a beautiful finish on your skin without breaking the bank. Bourjous Healthy Mix is a perfect example of this and one of my all time faves.

Before & After Photos
I chose shade 100 Ivory which I find is a good match for my skin across all Rimmel Foundations.
It has a lovely bouncy texture. The consistency is thickish, but very light and it melts into the skin very easily. I used the Real Techniques Sculpting Brush which is one of my faves for foundation. It is so nice to apply that I felt the compulsion to keep putting more and more on. I managed to stop myself though!
The rest of my makeup layered really well on top and I love the glowy, radiant finish. In case you were wondering, I used the VB Saffron Sun bronzer, Galifornia blush, Nars Loaded palette, Max Factor 2000 Calorie Curl Addict and Urban Decay Vice Liquid Lip in Trivial.
The Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation 2017 is £8.99 and is available to order online here
