I really like Rimmel’s Scandaleyes line and the latest addition is a rather lovely big fat eyeliner. Check out the Rimmel Scandaleyes Jumbo Eyeliner in all its marker pen glory.

So the Rimmel Scandaleyes Jumbo Eyeliner is definitely for when you want a bit of a statement liner look. It’s a super chunky felt tip pen with ultra-black pigment.

I think the swatches came out really well.

The liquid flows so easily and gives highly pigmented coverage in a single stroke. In fact, it was so easy to use that I got a little carried away, as you probably will have noticed!!

It wasn’t quite as easy to apply to my eyes as it was to my hand. This is because I am far from good at eyeliner and also the skin on my lids is not as firm as the skin on my hand. As a result, I found I had to go over it a couple of times to get the same intensity as the swatches. But to be fair, I also go over my eyeliner because I never manage a good line in one go…ever!

I wasn’t able to leave it on long enough to test the 24 hour promise (who would), but it stayed in place pretty well. It comes off pretty easily, which makes me think it isn’t quite as long wearing as it could be, but then I absolutely hate eye makeup that I have to scrub off. Some longwear eye products really takes thier toll on the delicate skin around the eyes when it comes to removal, so this is a bonus for me.
