Rimmel Extra 3D Lash Mascara Review

I first came across the Rimmel Extra 3D Lash Mascara in the Rimmel’s Christmas collection for 2014, Royal Plush. I never really seen it before but I gave it a quick try yesterday as I liked the look of the super thin brush.

I wasn’t really expecting to blog about this mascara because I don’t think it’s particularly new, but after it appeared on my lashes in another post about lip gloss and I got questions about it, I thought I better had!

So Rimmel Extra 3D Lash Mascara is incredibly easy to work with and the first coat goes on really easily and gives an instant effect. Let me show you some before and after photos.

Here’s the before shot:

As you can see, my lashes are pretty invisible there without anything on.

1 quick coat on one eye:

I actually love this one coat look and the mascara has quickly lengthened, curls and volumised my lashes. I also really like how black and pigmented the formula is.

Next 2 coats on one eye:

As you can see the second coat adds a bit of drama, definition and an even more densely pigmented finish.

2 Coats to both eyes (and my brows quickly done):

I really really like the look of this mascara. It is a serious bargain for £4.99 as it didn’t smudge and stayed in place until I took it off at night. It has a heavier feel than the last Rimmel mascara I tried, Wonder Full, but then I think it has a much more dramatic result than that one. What do you think?

Rimmel Extra 3D Lash Mascara is a brilliant product, and  another amazing value mascara from Rimmel. I genuinely think that these days you don’t have to spend a fortune on mascara and the high street  is option such a great option.
