I always get excited about new launches from Rimmel and I am absolutely loving all the recently announced products. Being a fan of easy to use, multi-purpose eye products, the Rimmel Exaggerate Smoke n’ Shine Liners really appeal to me.

These are automatic pencils that deliver saturated, luminous colour with a gel-like finish. The liner has a creamy formula and can be used to create bold lines or a smudged look.
The twist up pencil can be sharpened with the concealed sharpener that lies underneath the smudger at the other end of the liner.

This means you can choose between a super sharp look, or a really blended finish.
Rimmel Exaggerate Smoke n’ Shine Liner Shades

There are four shades in the collection:
- Little Black Smokey
- Copper Bling
- Purple Craze
- Blue Steel

I don’t have the Purple Craze shade yet, but here’s the blue, copper and black.

As you can see, they have a gorgeous metallic finish. The pencils are super soft and blend out very easily.
Here is copper bling used lightly over the lid and blended out with the smudger, finished with a more defined line in the same colour along the upper lash line. The gel-like formula delivers a lovely high shine finish when used in a defined line and not blended out. It looks a little strange as I have no mascara on in this picture but you get the idea!

You can also see it here with the brand new Rimmel Scandaleyes XX-Treme Mascara. I am going to try the other colours soon too.
Rimmel Exaggerate Smoke n’ Shine pencils launch January 21st 2014 and cost £3.99. Find Rimmel at Boots and Superdrug.
