Oooh I love these!! I am a fan of the Rimmel Apocalips original lip lacquers  – super shiny, super comfy and really long lasting. They are also amazing value! Check them out HERE. Now we have the Rimmel Apocalips Matte Lip Lacquer. I am mad for matte so this really is exciting!

It uses the same brilliant applicator that makes Apocalips super easy to apply. The shape is perfect to line and define, and the little reservoir holds just the right amount of product. The texture of this matte incarnation is just gorgeous. It’s like a soft mousse that just glides over and locks on to the lips.

Rimmel Apocalips Matte Lip Lacquer Formula

The velvet finish and creamy texture is achieved using a mix of powders and a blend of lightweight oils and plant derived waxes.

I completely love all these shades! Atomic Rose is like the best kind of everyday pinky nude, Meteoric Matte is an amazing deep but wearable berry shade and Orange-ology really is just the most stunning orange. They are all keepers for sure.

There’s also another shade – 505 Burning Lava but I don’t have that one. It looks like a lovely raspberry red.
