It is a pretty interesting product and I think it may be similar to the Wild About Beauty Mattifying Balm which is £21. It is all about creating a flawless, shine-free look.

Revlon Photoready Primer + Anti Shine Balm Before & After

I haven’t used it as a primer yet, but that is next on my list to try. So far I have used it to mattify my makeup – take a look at the before and after photos.

Before with BB Cream:

Personally, I don’t like my finish too matte, and the BB cream I had used (Rimmel) had the ideal finish for me, but I do have some complexion products that would seriously benefit from this. If you love matte, you will love this and it is so easy to blot on to your makeup and instantly eradicate shine.

It feel light and imperceptible on the skin and doesn’t leave the chalky finish that powders sometimes can. This is the way forward for people that hate powder (often me!). You can keep it in your bag and press it on to just where you need it without disturbing your makeup. Fab!

Revlon Photoready Primer + Anti Shine Balm costs £9.99 and is available from January 2015 at Boots and Superdrug.
