I received this sample before Christmas and since I began my 5-a-day brush washing New Year’s Resolution, I have become very interested in brush cleansers. I have been testing out the Real Techniques Deep Cleansing Gel. Here’s what you need to know!
Real Techniques Deep Cleansing Gel Features
- Designed to deep cleanse
- It delivers the cleansing power of a concentrate
- Laboratory proven to effectively remove makeup residue
- Removes visible makeup and invisible impurities
- Dermatologist tested for gentleness
- Does not contain alcohol or phthalates
- Delivers a quick, clean rinse
You can use Real Techniques Deep Cleansing Gel in the palm of your hand or on a texture surface. I struggled to find a textured surface, so I am so excited for the impending launch of the Real Techniques Brush Cleansing Palette.
Until I can get hold of that little beauty ($15 and on the US RT website), I made use of a saucer! You use a small drop, mix it with a little warm water and you swirl the bristles on to it. Rinse and you’re done, just squeeze out and leave the brushes to dry.
It cleaned the makeup off all my brushes really quickly. Foundation melted away, powders the same, and even a long wear lipstick was removed pretty fast – it needed two goes but it got it off.
When the brushes were dry they were fresh and super soft. Pretty much like new. And it’s absolutely great value. You can pick up 150ml of the Real Techniques Deep Cleansing Gel for £6.99. FIND IT HERE.
I hope Real Techniques do a solid brush cleanser soon because they are SO good for travelling!
