There are brand new Bold Metals brushes and rather excitingly I have them right here! The Real Techniques Bold Metals 2016 updates include the new 102 Triangle Concealer brush and the 203 Tapered Shadow brush. Here they are!

Real Techniques Bold Metals 2016 Update
- Base – 102 Triangle Concealer Brush
- Eyes – 203 Tapered Shadow Brush
Real Techniques Bold Metals 2016 102 Triangle Concealer
So this is the baby version of the Triangle Foundation brush. How cute!?

This one has been designed to conceal, blend and cover spots. It has:
- A flat edge to cover larger areas of the face
- Angled edges to contour around eyes, nose and chin
- Fine tip to pin point and mask imperfections

What I love about this brush is that at the same time as concealing, it is also brilliant for contouring and highlighting. You can use the flat side to add contour, and then each of the shorter sides for concealer and precision highlighting. It’s a 3-in-1! Fab! And I find this one much softer than its older sister the 101 Triangle Foundation brush.
Real Techniques Bold Metals 2016 – 203 Tapered Shadow
This brush is my favourite of the 2 Bold Metals newbies. It is for applying colour over the lid and blending out the crease.

- Densely packed
- Precision cut for blending shadow into the crease and eyelid
- Delivers a seamless finish

I love this brush. It fits perfectly into the crease and blends everything out to perfection. It also picks up eyeshadow beautifully so you can use it to pack on colour on the lid. It’s lovely. Also great for blending out concealer.

Now I am not exactly sure when these Real Techniques Bold Metals 2016 brushes will launch in the UK. They are already available in the US and I actually ordered mine from the US Real Techniques site. I did this for 2 reasons – 1) the brushes seem to work out cheaper in the US and I wanted to find out whether it was worth recommending making a transatlantic order, and 2) I was too impatient to wait until they turned up here!
Although I am very pleased I have my brushes, I am going to say that I wouldn’t recommend ordering them on the US site from the UK. First off it took over 2 and a half weeks, and secondly I ended up paying a customs fee which meant I didn’t save anything at all. It is much better to wait til they launch in the UK. But I’m glad I know now… and I have my brushes early. Yay!
Stay tuned for UK info on the Real Techniques Bold Metals 2016 brushes. I will update as soon as I can. You can get the full Real Techniques line up at Boots.
