If you know me, you’ll know I love testing sunscreens. They are one of my absolute favourite skincare categories. Today, I’m sharing my thoughts on the RANAVAT Brightening Mineral Sunscreen SPF 50, which happens to be the very first product I’ve tried from the brand. And spoiler alert: it’s a really beautiful formula!

This is a daily mineral sunscreen with SPF 50+ protection that doesn’t just shield your skin from the sun. It also works hard on the skincare side of things. It has been clinically tested to help soften the look of dark spots and fine lines, all while keeping the skin nourished and comfortable.
The formula uses RANAVAT’s clever Adaptogenic Shield Complex™, which brings together 20 antioxidant-rich adaptogens alongside mineral zinc oxide to protect against sun damage, blue light, and free radicals. My Review
I have combination skin, and this sunscreen works brilliantly for me. It feels nourishing and keeps my skin looking fresh all day.
- For dry and mature skin types: This will be especially suitable, as it’s very hydrating and adds that youthful glow we all want
- For oily skin types: It may feel a touch too emollient if you prefer a matte finish, but if you’re happy with radiance, you may still enjoy it.
The Packaging
Another big plus for me is the packaging. The bottle feels luxurious and weighty in the hand, and the nozzle makes dispensing very neat and precise. It’s little touches like this that make applying SPF every day feel like a ritual.
This is the first product I’ve tried from RANAVAT, and I’m impressed. I’ve already been told that their Saffron Serum* is a best-seller, so that’s definitely going on my list to try next.
Texture and Finish
The texture is absolutely gorgeous. It has that serum-gel feel that melts into the skin just like skincare. On application, it feels cooling, hydrating, and incredibly comfortable.

- White cast: None at all on my fair skin
- Makeup base: Sits beautifully under foundation and adds luminosity to any base that you find a little too matte.
For me, it ticks all the boxes of being both effective SPF protection and a glowing primer in one.
Who is the RANAVAT Brightening Mineral Sunscreen Best For?
I think this sunscreen will be a dream for dry and dehydrated skin types, and it’s especially lovely for mature skin that really benefits from a boost of luminosity. I find it also works really well for combination skin if you enjoy a radiant finish, like I do.
The only skin type that might find it a little too much is very oily skin, particularly if you prefer a more matte look, as the glow could feel a touch too dewy.
