PUR Cosmetics are launching some really interesting products right now and here’s one that fits right into the contouring trend. The PUR Cameo Contour stick is a double ended foundation stick with a contour shade and a highlight shade. Here’s a look at it with swatches.

Inside the package, you also get a beauty blender style sponge which you use to work the contour into the skin – so you have everything needed to create a sculpted, lifted look.

How To Use

I followed PUR’s instructions which say:

Step 1 – Highlight:

• Centre of the forehead
• Under brow bone
• Down the bridge of the nose
• Under eye
• Centre of chin

Step 2 – Contour

• Around forehead hairline
• Sides of nose
• Under cheekbone
• Under jawline

The formulation is gorgeously creamy and literally just glides on to the skin.

I soaked the blending sponge, squeezed out the excess water and then gently buffed both shades in to the skin.

My personal tip is to always try and blend the contour shade upwards, to avoid droopy jaws! PUR recommends using this over foundation but I think you could actually use it alone as it gives the skin a lovely coverage.

Personally, I am more of a powder contour fan, I just find it easier to use, but I think these sticks are great. I’d probably feel more comfortable with the stick in the light shade, as the contour colour is a bit dark for me. If you like cream contour products, I think you’ll love these.
