A few months back we were hearing so much about cushion foundations and I have reviewed offerings from Lancome, Dr Jart and KIKO. I love the format – it is so convenient and perfect for touch ups on the go, and if you like a fairly sheer, skin-like coverage, you should definitely check out out. I was instantly tempted by the Pur Air Perfection CC Cushion Foundation because it has SPF50. I love SPF50… And it has a refill!

This is a beautifully light foundation and it literally just melts into the skin and feels super soft and nourishing.

Considering it has such a light, sheer texture, the coverage is really so good. It evens out my complexion beautifully, covers redness and imperfections, and leaves a softly dewy finish. This photo is without powder but I found I just needed to powder the t-zone to get rid of shine but retain the glow. I really, really like this, and I didn’t need an under-eye concealer – I just layered up under my eyes for extra coverage. It is really kind on the fine lines in that area.

It is so buildable but never becomes cakey. You can just keep applying until you are happy with the finish with no fear of looking over done. I love this because, in terms of the SPF protection, I like to make sure there’s adequate coverage for proper defence from UV rays.

This is now coming with me when I’m out and about. It pairs perfectly with my other on the go essential, Benefit the Porefessional Zero Agent Shine, just on the t-zone. That deals with the shine you see in seconds!
