Poco Beauty Skintuition Complexion Protect Foundation SPF50 Review

I do love a foundation that makes my skin look good without feeling like I’m wearing foundation, and Poco Beauty Skintuition Complexion Protect Foundation SPF50 is a very good example of that. It’s lightweight, blends like a dream and gives the skin a really lovely, natural finish with just the right amount of glow.

What I particularly like is that it has the feel of a tinted moisturiser, but with much better coverage than you’d expect. It evens everything out beautifully, feels comfortable on the skin and doesn’t leave me looking overly dewy. Basically, it’s one of those easy, everyday bases that makes getting ready feel like less of a palaver.

And then there’s the SPF50. Always a winner in my book!

What Is Poco Beauty Skintuition Complexion Protect Foundation SPF50?

Poco Beauty Skintuition Complexion Protect Foundation SPF50 PA++++ is a lightweight foundation with high-factor sun protection and added skincare benefits. It combines complexion coverage with ingredients designed to hydrate, brighten and improve the look of the skin over time.

The formula contains Dual Hyaluronic Acid to help hydrate and give the complexion a plumper, healthier appearance, alongside niacinamide and adenosine to help brighten the skin and improve its texture.

It’s available in a 30ml bottle, in 15 shades, and I’m wearing the shade Bisque.

What Does Poco Beauty Skintuition Complexion Protect Foundation Look Like on the Skin?

The first thing I noticed about this foundation was just how lovely it feels on the skin. It’s light, easy to blend and gives a really beautiful, natural-looking finish. You get a gorgeous, healthy glow without that overly shiny look, which is exactly what I want from a base.

I’m always banging on about wanting my skin to look like skin, and this definitely ticks that box. It gives a good level of coverage, evening out the complexion without looking heavy or mask-like. It genuinely feels more like a tinted moisturiser, but with the coverage of a proper foundation. That, for me, is a very good combination.

I think before-and-after photos are particularly useful with a product like this because they show how much coverage you’re actually getting, as well as the difference it makes to the overall appearance of the skin.

How Does Poco Beauty Skintuition Complexion Protect Foundation Wear?

The other thing that has really impressed me is the staying power. Sometimes you try a lovely lightweight base and find that by lunchtime it’s quietly disappeared off your face. Not so here.

My skin continues to look good throughout the day, and the rest of my makeup sits really nicely on top. For something that feels this light, I think the longevity is a real plus. It gives me that comfortable, natural finish without feeling like I need to keep checking or touching up my makeup.

Skincare Benefits and SPF50

Of course, the SPF50 is a huge plus. I’m religious about daily sun protection, and I love seeing high-factor SPF in a product that feels this light and comfortable. There’s none of that thick, heavy feeling that can sometimes put me off applying enough product.

It’s also a great option for autumn and winter, when I still want my daily sun protection but don’t necessarily want a really dewy, summer-style base.

The formula also contains Dual Hyaluronic Acid to help with hydration, alongside niacinamide and adenosine for additional brightening skincare benefits. Obviously, I’m not going to claim that a foundation is going to transform your skin overnight, but it’s always nice to have those ingredients in the mix, particularly when the formula feels so comfortable to wear.

One important thing to remember: even though this foundation contains SPF50, I wouldn’t ditch your separate sunscreen. Most people don’t apply foundation in the amount needed to achieve the SPF stated on the packaging, so I’d use a dedicated broad-spectrum sunscreen underneath and enjoy the foundation’s SPF as an extra layer.

Packaging

And finally, the packaging is really lovely. It’s an easy to use tube with a neat nozzle that doesn’t get messy.

My Verdict

This is a lovely everyday foundation if you’re after good coverage without the weight. I love the natural finish, the healthy-looking glow and the fact that it stays looking good all day, while feeling so light on the skin.

The SPF50 is the icing on the cake, and the skincare ingredients are a nice added bonus.

For me, the winning combination is that it feels like a tinted moisturiser but gives you proper foundation coverage. If you like your base products lightweight, comfortable and glowy without tipping into shiny, Poco Beauty Skintuition Complexion Protect Foundation is definitely worth a look.
