I love a mask and ones that work overnight are even more interesting to me, and so I did a little squeal when I first spotted this newbie, the Origins Plantscription Powerful Lifting Overnight Mask. I have given it a bit of a test and I like! Here’s the info on it!
Origins Plantscription Powerful Lifting Overnight Mask Features
- Fast absorbing cream-gel mask
- Uses a lifting complex that lifts, plumps and firms
- Red Microalgae & Sweet Almond Extract hydrate and firm
- Anogeissus and Commiphora lift and resculpt facial contours
- Creates a breathable film around the face
- The film produces a lifting and gentle stretching for immediate tightening
Origins suggest using this nightly, which I am sure would be amazing, but as I like to change things up a bit, I have used it twice in a week and really liked what it does. What is interesting is that it has a very similar texture to the Charlotte Tilbury Magic Night Cream. It is quite balmy, maybe not quite as balmy as the CT, but it has a thick creamy texture that stays on your skin overnight, and you can still feel it like a mask in the morning. It is a lot lighter than the Magic Night Cream so if you don’t like anything too heavy, you will probably prefer it. It really feels like it seals in moisture whilst injecting a whole load of firming and lifting goodness.
Both times I have used this I have woken up with super plump, hydrated skin that has a really youthful bounce. I am a fan of Plantscription and love the first serum they launched, so I am interested to use this nightly and see what it can do for me. I think this would be amazing on a long haul flight.
As you apply it, it has an instant smoothing and beautifying effect on the skin so I’ll update if I have any news for you. Also, it smells really lovely – softly citrus-y and fresh. It has a more pleasant aroma than the Magic Night Cream.
Origins Plantscription Powerful Lifting Overnight Mask is £52 for 75ml and launches January 2016. UPDATE: Find it to order online HERE
