I do love a micellar, or cleansing water, as the first step in removing makeup before I go on to do a deeper cleanse. I used this new Orico Orange Micellar Cleansing Water & Makeup Remover last night for the first time and then this morning, and I think it is excellent.

The first thing I noticed is that it is brilliant at removing eye makeup really very quickly. This is always really important to me as my pet hate is smearing black all over my face when I am using an oil or balm. This literally cut through mascara in an instant whilst smelling absolutely amazing .
It also has quite a few skin benefits too.
Orico Orange Micellar Cleansing Water & Makeup Remover Features
- Anti-inflammatory Calendula Flower Extract helps boost cell regeneration
- Vitamin C stimulates collagen and strengthens the skin’s barrier
- Amino Acids boost moisture and smooth the skin
- The aromatherapy blend of Tangerine & Orange Essential Oils helps increase circulation and clears congested skin, as well as uplifting the senses.

It really is a pleasure to use. The aroma certainly does have a very positive effect on the mind so it will be perfect as a gentle cleanse first thing in the morning, to remove any impurities that have built up in the skin overnight and also get you ready for the day.
It feels super mild yet removes makeup effectively and it left my skin feeling calm and soothed with no tight feeling at all. I also love the fact that it has lots of anti-ageing ingredients too with anti-oxidants to defend from free radicals and a naturally derived amino acid blend to boost hydration. Also, I got a kitten scratch on my face this morning (he’s obsessed with catching my hair!) and I found it very calming on that, and happy that it’s nice and clean thanks to the formula’s anti-bacterial properties.
I have tried a couple of other bits from the brand and particularly like the Skin Brunch face mask. It’s a lovely British brand and they really do know how to use smell to boost your mood.
Orico Orange Micellar Cleansing Water & Makeup Remover is £16. Find Orico at Debenhams.
