Olivia Palermo Ciate Nantucket Nail Polish Review & Swatch

There aren’t many women I know that don’t have Olivia Palermo high up on the girl crush list. She just seems to get it right every time and I have to say, the idea of wearing a nail polish that she is willing to put her name to totally does it for me. I have the Olivia Palermo Ciate Nantucket Nail Polish.

Well! I absolutely love this shade. Apparently Nantucket is Olivia’s favourite place to holiday and she calls the shade “my hot vacation coral”. I am a big fan of coral nails and I think this shade is completely spot on.

Olivia says, “I wanted to create a unique nail polish that not only plumped out and cushioned nails but left them strong and resilient…as soon as I swiped this polish on my nails, I knew it was the one! With fortifying shellac to protect and defend, I am smitten with the color selections and confident in the knowledge my mani will stay super glossy and gorgeous.”

And it certainly does have a beautiful plumping effect. It is seriously pigmented so you get amazing coverage in one coat, and total glossy perfection with two. It is quite stunning.

There are 2 other colour in the Olivia Palermo Ciate collection – Olivia’s ‘go to red’ Hutch, and Sundays, her “off duty nude”. It’s a beautiful little edit of colours and everything about it has been really well done.

I adore the presentation and packaging. It makes it really special and very much like an intimate present from Olivia herself. Well worth the £17.50 price tag I think.

The Olivia Palermo Ciate collection launches here in the UK in June at Ciate online. They are already available to Sephora VIB members in the US.
