Now I am not a wipes girl. Oh no I am not! I am firmly in the “double cleanse and exfoliate” camp but I have completely fallen for these Ole Henriksen Nurture Me Makeup Removing Cleansing Cloths.

They smell delicious and do exactly what they promise to do – remove all my makeup, even waterproof, without leaving a trace. I know there’s not a trace left because I always cleanse afterwards and the cleansing cloth comes off clean! Result!

Now I am not suggesting that these can replace cleansing because there’s no more important part of skincare than a proper cleanse, but I think they are absolutely brilliant as step 1 of “the double”. Plus I haven’t had yucky mascara stains on my flannels and muslins while I’ve been using them.

Also I think for travelling I could probably get away with just the Ole Henriksen Makeup Removing Wipes for a job that needs doing quickly, easily and effectively. My skin really does feel very clean and nourished after using them, thanks to African Red Tea, Pineapple & Papaya Fruit Extract, Borage & Moringa Seed Oil and more. No nasties in the mix, just lovely ingredients in luxe satin-spun cloths. Posh!! These are no ordinary wipes.

For now, I have been tucking them by the side of my sofa for when I have been working late, and as I start to finish up, I pull out a wipe and get to work on the makeup before my bedtime beauty routine. It saves on some serious time and I feel like my skin is clean before I even start.
