Korean skincare is becoming the new “in” thing. When you combine great results with kitsch packaging- I mean pandas on facemasks, what’s not to love?! Based on a love for South Korea and sold in places such as ASOS and New Look to name a few, NPW’s Oh K! range embodies all that is great about Korean skincare.
Oh K! Multi Step Face Mask With Charcoal £8
They kindly sent me the cutest little bundle of products to try. The first of which is the Multi Step Face Mask With Charcoal.
This is a 3 in 1 as it contains a cleansing wash, moisturising serum and then a bamboo charcoal fibre face mask. The charcoal acts as a magnet, drawing impurities from the skin and the Fibre Mask helps to retain three times more hydration than regular creams masks do.
I found all of these products to do exactly what they promised. Sheet masks are rapidly becoming my newest obsession.
Oh K! Black Sesame Hydrogel Mask
One of my best friends has had a pretty hard time of it recently, and despite not being very girly is becoming more interested in beauty because of my writing here for Ree. So when she had exams last week I selflessly gifted the Black Sesame Hydrogel Mask to her. This is the revitalising mask from the family of masks available.
After applying to clean dry skin and relaxing for 30 minutes my friend couldn’t believe how soft and refreshed her skin felt and looked.
Oh K! Lip Balm Duo
With the harsher weather we’ve been having recently the Lip Balm Duo is a perfect little stocking gift. You have a white peach scented cat and a cotton candy scented bear.
These have a raised dome for application, similar to the EOS style of balms making it much easier to apply. The scent was subtle but noticeable and they did a pretty decent job of keeping my lips hydrated. Unfortunately I’ve lost the cat one to my 4 year old niece who took one look and fell in love with it.
Oh K! Sweet Peach Scented Detangle Brush
Last but not least is the Sweet Peach scented brush. I’ve loved Tangle Teezer brushes for years now and have always been loyal but this little cutie has swayed me. It does indeed have a peach scent to it and did as good a job on my hair when wet as my Tangle Teezer.
It was my niece however that gave it the best trial. As 4 year olds do she decided it would be a great idea to put glue in her hair at school! Not easily removable glue but stay there and won’t move glue. My sister tried everything and as my niece has beautiful ringlets was worried they were destroyed. This peach brush managed to get through the glue with a little patience and as with the cat balm, she managed to sneak this home too. As she hates having her hair brushed because of her ringlets I was more than happy to let her have this. I will purchase one for myself though as it does work.
Overall I love this brand. It’s been a brand I’ve been meaning to try it for a while and now I’ve sampled some of the range I have a wish list of what I need to try next. With Christmas coming ever closer they will make fantastic stocking stuffers or secret santa presents.
