Neutrogena Visibly Clear Correct and Perfect CC Cream Review

I love base makeup products and I particularly like ones that offer skincare benefits into the mix. I have tried out the recently launched Neutrogena Visibly Clear Correct and Perfect CC Cream and here are my thoughts, with before and after photos.

The texture is creamy yet light and I found that it blended into the skin pretty easily. I applied it with my Real Techniques Buffing Brush and took care to really work it into the skin, particularly over enlarged pores.

I applied this over the Sunday Riley Tidal Water Cream, which is really light and oil-free.

I found that when applied with the buffing brush, it gave a pretty good coverage, and neutralised the appearance of redness in my skin well. It is a sheer product but you can build it up over any areas of concern. I don’t have any spots at the moment, so I can’t tell you how adept it would be at covering up anything more problematic. And in the same way, I can’t really comment on it’s ability to clear skin either. Sorry about that.

I like the coverage though, and for £6.99 it’s definitely worth a try if you’re looking for a complexion product that also treats. I noticed a couple of consumer review saying that it was hard to blend. Personally, I didn’t have a problem but perhaps that’s because I used it like a foundation and applied it with a brush.
