I am a sucker for a cleansing balm so I was really excited to learn that one of my favourite essential oil candle brands, NEOM, was launching a night time cleansing balm. This particularly resonated with me because I struggle with relaxing at night and need all the help I can get for a better night’s sleep. The balm smells amazing and the texture melts beautifully into the skin lending itself easily to a relaxing facial massage. I love to take my time to work a product like this into my skin. I often find that if I use enough product and really spend the time to massage it all over the complexion, one cleanse is enough.
Although for a long time I have been a fan of the double cleanse, recently I am very conscious of not over-cleansing the skin because I don’t want to disrupt the natural bacterial balance skin needs to be healthy. I just apply the balm to dry skin and spend as much time as I can massaging it in.
The cleanser comes with a 100% natural cotton cleansing cloth that has a textured muslin side for gentle exfoliation and a softer side for extra sensitive skin.
