My Review of Naturium Body Wash UK Launch
As soon as I shared a photo of these Body Washes on my Instagram stories, I was inundated with messages! This launch is going to be huge!
I have a selection of the Body Wash collection here to show and I have been testing them out. I am weirdly obsessed with how big the bottles are! Each one contains 500ml which I think is amazing, especially as they are so affordable.
I love to be very generous with my body wash, and these sizes certainly allow for that. I love how transparent the packaging is. It tells you what the texture is, the pH, key ingredients and more.
The following products will definitely be launching as part of the Naturium Body Wash UK collection. I will confirm what additional body washes will be available at Space NK as soon as I can.
Naturium The Smoother Glycolic Acid Exfoliating Body Wash Review
This is the first one I tried because I have heard amazing things about how good it is for smoothing out bumpy skin.
This body wash is formulated with an AHA blend that includes glycolic (5%), lactic, pyruvic and tartaric acids. It is designed to help loosen and remove dead skin cells. The formula also features red algae to hydrate the skin. Apparently, this can also be used as a facial cleanser, although I have not tried that yet.
It’s has a really lovely texture. It comes out in a creamy lotion consistency and then it lathers up into a really nice thick foamy cream. I like to turn the shower head away and leave it on for a minute or two if I have time, just to let the AHAs get to work.
It uses a clever technology called Coacervate Technology which allows the active ingredients to uniformly coat the skin and stay there, while the surfactants in the formula rinse away. Genius! If you ever felt you were just pouring good products down the plug hole, this will make you feel good.
The Smoother Glycolic Acid Exfoliating Body Wash pH level is set to 4.25-4.75. It doesn’t have a noticeable fragrance.
When I use this, it leaves my skin feeling smooth and hydrated. I am looking forward to using this more as I can already tell that it’s great on any texture and congestion. Also, it is great for washing the armpits, because AHAs work to remove the bacteria that causes body odour.
Naturium The Brightener Vitamin C Body Wash Review
This one has a lovely gel-cream texture and the Vitamin C element of the formula is ascorbyl glucoside which is a very stable Vitamin C derivative. It also contains bioactive fruit acids and enzymes to gently exfoliate the skin and tackle dullness.
It has a thick gel texture with a creamy consistency and it’s creamy rather than foamy. It’s nice to use. It doesn’t have a scent, I was expecting something orangey! It just has that vague hint of a vitamin C product.
I have only tried this a couple of times, so I can’t really comment on the brightening results right now. Vitamin C does take time to work, so I’d imagine you would only be able to see skin improvements after a couple of months of use.
It’s a great one to use in the morning because Vitamin C is such a great antioxidant and helps protect against environmental stressors. It has a pH of 5.00-5.75.
This one doesn’t leave my skin feeling quite as hydrated as the Glycolic, but I don’t mind that too much as I always use a body cream or lotion.
Naturium The Multi-Vitamin Daily Nutrients Body Wash Review
This one is slightly different as it comes out as a translucent gel and looks like much more of a traditional gel wash format. It lathers up really beautifully and feels good on the skin. This one is designed to be a good daily wash, with a bit of everything, much like a multi-vitamin tablet you take.
It is designed to support the skin’s NMF (natural moisturizing factor) balance and uses a biomimetic blend of amino acids to help restore skin health. It also uses “Second skin” technology to hydrate and replenish essential nutrients.
This one leaves my skin feeling really nice and clean, yet hydrated. Lovely! A great one for all over, everyday.
If you’re looking to discover any facial skincare from this affordable brand, I’m a big fan of the cleansing balm. Have a read of my Naturium Purple Ginseng Cleansing Balm Review.
