I featured this eyeshadow palette in my recent Beauty News Video and now I have managed to swatch the shades for you. The NARS NARSissist L’Amour Toujours L’Amour Palette is a limited edition palette with 12 new shades.

It’s a lovely mix of neutrals with bite. There are 4 mattes and 8 shimmers.

The shades names, being numerical, are a little lifeless, but the shade descriptions are more appealing.

I really like the mix of cool tones and warm tones which means you will be able to create a range of different looks.

I used shade I all over my lids which is great to even out the tone of the lids and set foundation or concealer, along with a mix of VII and III in the crease.  I then layered V and VI together and used X in the other corner. I defined the lower lash line with IX on a fine pencil brush.

I found the shimmers applied better with the fingertip than a brush. I found product pick-up with a brush a bit tricky which was a little disappointing.
