2021: I have had so many questions about this collection that I just couldn’t wait to feature it. Here’s the lowdown on the brand new NARS Claudette Collection, inspired by Francois Nars’ mother Claudette. It has just launched in the UK and I have swatches of the Bronzer and Blush duo, the eyeshadow palette and all the lipsticks here.

I absolutely love the packaging of this collection. It has heart, stars and butterflies. All my favourites!

What is in the NARS Claudette Collection?

NARS Claudette Audacious Sheer Matte Lipstick Shades

This is a new take on a classic formula. Sheer Matte deliver a medium sheer coverage with a soft-focus finish.

The shades:

• ANAÏS (pink nude)
• MATHILDE (rose beige)
• SYLVIE (berry red)
• BÉRÉNICE (warm brick red)
• ANOUK (red) (missing from my samples)
• SANDRINE (scarlet red)

The Audacious Matte formula is absolutely beautiful. It’s a very cushiony, hydrating matte texture that feels like a firm mousse over the lips and glides on effortlessly. I love all these shades – the nude is perfect for everyday, but so are the reds, as they are softly muted and give you that stunning velvety rosebud effect. Just gorgeous.

NARS Claudette Audacious Lipstick Shades

We have four brand new shades in this classic formula:

• LÉA (neutral spiced rose)
• AUGUSTINE (taupe nude)
• CLAUDETTE (rust red)
• GINETTE (deep brown red)

Swatches

These are the ones to go for if you like a bit more shine. The formula is conditioning and hydrating and the colour payoff is excellent. Ginette is a little too deep for me, but other than that, I love the shade range of these too.

NARS Claudette Cheek Duo

This duo uses NARS’ bestselling blush formula in two gorgeous shades designed to suit all skin tones:

• CROISETTE (matte bright peach)
• NINOTCHKA (matte toasted amber)

I have been wearing this duo a lot on my stories this week and have had lots of compliments on it. It is the perfect subtle complexion lifter.

I am also wearing the eyeshadow palette here and ANAIS in the Audacious Matte lipstick. My favourite one.

NARS St Germain Des Pres Eyeshadow Palette

This is such a gorgeous palette and features six warm, neutral shades in matte, satin, and shimmer finishes. It uses pure pigments suspended in an innovative liquid binding system create rich, high-impact colour in just one stroke.

The shades:

• JOIE (shimmering champagne)
• RUE DE TOURNON (shimmering bronze)
• L’ÉPHÉMÈRE (matte rust)

Again this is such a chic palette. The shades and textures are very grown up and it is really easy to work with. Love it.
