MUTHA Up All Night Eye Cream Review – New Solution for Under Eye Darkness

MUTHA is a new skincare brand just launched in the UK, created by Hope Dworaczyk Smith, a pregnant mother who wanted products that help with the toll on skin that pregnancy and life in general takes. I have been trying out the MUTHA Up All Night Eye Cream. Here’s what you need to know.
What is MUTHA Up All Night Eye Cream?

Key Ingredients
MUTHALOAD™ Core Technology – a bio-fermentation blend that allows the skin to easily absorb ingredients for more powerful results. It includes a Hyaluronic Acid Complex, Rice Kerfiran, and a Rice Peptide Delivery System to help repair the damage caused by modern lifestyles.
Coffee Seed Extract, Pearl Powder + Botanical Extracts: Increases radiance and diminishes the appearance of dark circles.
Before and After Photos
Because this product has a nice instant brightening effect, I thought some before and after application photos would be interesting.
These photos are taken on the same day first thing in the morning. The before photo is just before application and the after photo is straight after.
I think you can see a nice illuminating effect on the under eye area. The results look fairly subtle in photos but when I look in the mirror, the whole eye area looks so much fresher and brighter.
My Mini Review
I fell for this eye cream pretty much straight away because it has such an immediate brightening effect that you could possibly skip concealer if you just wanted to look fresh but not made up.
In fact, I was so impressed by it’s instant results that I chucked it in my handbag and have been pressing a small amount over makeup when I am out and about for when my eye area is starting to look a little dull or dry.
It does a brilliant job of refreshing your complexion, boosting hydration and brightness without actually adding any extra makeup.
In terms of the formula, the texture has a nice balmy quality that makes the whole eye area feel hydrated and nourished. A small amount optically lifts and hydrates the area and I feel like the hydration is nice and long lasting.
Makeup goes on top nicely, and as I said, it is light enough to pat on over makeup during the day for extra moisture and illumination. It’s actually really nice tapped on to the tops of cheekbones too, for a very natural looking highlight.
I haven’t tested it consistently enough to really comment on how it performs on lines, wrinkles and darkness over time, but it is definitely moisturising and really satisfying to use, so it’s the kind of product you would want to keep using. Compliance is key in skincare and continued use should see increased brightness and plumping.
