If you like lovely warm and deep fragrances then you should check out the latest collection from Molton Brown. It is inspired by the 17th century Russian leather-making craft and is a great autumnal scent. Here are the details on the new Molton Brown Russian Leather Collection.
I love leather in fragrance. It is always soft, smooth and warming on the skin.
Molton Brown Russian Leather Notes
The blend emulates the ancient leather making craft of Russia and uses a tempered aged leather accord with fresh Siberian pine oil and trails of cade wood oil. This is deepened by resinous birch oil which was actually traditionally used in the 17th century to saturate Russian leather for books and suitcases.
Master Perfumer Loic Bisceglie said of Molten Brown Russian Leather, “I imagined a crackling fire at twilight, where intensely woody, smouldering and noble leathery notes intermingle with a Siberian forest’s brisk pine. Ambery Vetiver embraces strong, commanding black leather laced with sophisticated cade, leaving an unforgettable impression of a Russian wilderness”.
It’s a lovely warming scent, perfect for men as an EDT in my opinion, and actually the most amazing home scent in the candle. In fact, the candle is definitely my favourite part of the collection. It fills the room so quickly and is absolutely gorgeous.
The collection includes the Molten Brown Russian Leather Eau de Toilette for £39, the Bath & Shower Gel for £20, the Single Wick Candle for £39 and the Three Wick Candle for £60. It is available online HERE now.
