This brand new collection from Models Own promises to be quite the game-changer! Using technology from the Far East, they have created a complete cushion collection with a range of different products to have fun with. Here’s a close up look at the very exciting Models Own K-Kushion line up with lots of photos and swatches. You’ll enjoy this!

I love what Models Own are doing with makeup! They have jumped with both feet and have taken control of all the trends we are interested in. The last launch was the gorgeous rose gold collection called GILT, and now here’s a different take on beauty with a completely new packaging look too. It’s fresh and exciting.

Models Own K-Kushion Collection Contents

• K-Kushion Lips £5.99 – liquid lipsticks with a soft matte finish in five candy colours
• K-Kushion Blusher £7.99 – vibrant, hydrating blushers in three shades
• K-Kushion Glow £7.99 – illuminating creams in two glowy shades
• K-Kushion Eyeshadow £5.99 – metallic shadows in a buildable, long lasting formulation, five shades

The entire range is about easy to use colours and textures – you apply from the tube, blend and you’re done. Easy!

Models Own K-Kushion Swatches

I really enjoyed playing with this collection.

K-Kushion Lips

There are five shades in total – Juicy, Snug, Pout Out, Sugarball and Plush. It’s a creamy liquid lipstick texture with intense pigmentation and a long wear finish.

K-Kushion Blusher

These have a light gel-cream formula – beads of pigmented colour applied directly to the cheeks and then you blend out with fingers. You can dab a tiny bit and go for a soft pop of colour or build up for a more intense look. I have the pink shade Pillow. There’s also Bouncy (peach) and Cushy (rosy).

K-Kushion Glow

My favourite, of course! These highlighters have a super soft texture with a pearly sheen for a super fresh glow. I have shade Perky Pink and I love it! The other shade is Cheerful Coral.

I need to show you this highlight on my face because it gives skin the glow that people with naturally perfect skin have – you know like a model before they have started putting all the makeup on?! Add me on snapchat to see it in action very soon. It’s a super light fluid that sinks into the skin and leaves behind a glow. It would be good on bare skin days when you want to radiate a little more than you do by yourself!

K-Kushion Eyeshadow

The powder is stored in the lid of these shadow and you use the cushion to apply fine layers of colour. There are five shades – I have 01 Delight and 03 Hug. There’s also Touch which is gold (need), Hoopla (magenta) and Super Suave – an iridescent pink.

I wouldn’t wear either of these shades but I definitely think that the gold shade would bring joy to my life?
