I was so excited to test out the brand new Milk Makeup Vegan Milk Moisturiser because there’s been so much good feedback from the US. It’s a departure from the skincare sticks that made this brand famous and I have to say, I am loving it. Here’s what you need to know.

Vegan Milk is a beautifully rich and luxurious moisturiser that just feels so good on the skin. If you like a bit of glow, then I think you will like how this looks as I find it gives my skin quite a long-lasting gloss-like finish, in a good way, with no greasiness.

My Review

This moisturiser contains two of my favourite humectant ingredients, Squalane and Glycerin. The ingredient list is filled with humectants so it is definitely going to hydrate. The formula is packed with agents that work really well to draw water to the surface of the skin and keep it there.

It’s so hydrating that it seems to instantly plump up the skin and really looks instantly perfecting to the eye, much like the Augustinus Bader The Rich Cream*. In fact, there’s lots about Vegan Milk that really reminds me of AB, apart from the price tag of course!!

I find this absolutely gorgeous under makeup (I’ve been using it under Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Foundation* which I am loving at the moment), and perhaps if you’re not dry or don’t like anything too rich, you may prefer it as a night cream. A nice layer of this a bed time gives me really happy, plumped up skin in the morning. I am a fan.
