If you google ‘Michael Kors White’ you’ll see a whole lot of white fashion going on and then realise how fitting it is that the brand should release a new limited edition fragrance called Michael Kors White Eau de Parfum. I absolutely adore the real modern feel of the packaging which celebrates the timelessness of white as a colour (or technically the absence of colour) and how effortlessly chic it is.

It’s the same bottle as the original Michael Kors but with an iphone-esque makeover. The Signature White fragrance is based on the first scent, which is all about the tuberose, but has been re-worked in a ‘white’ way to bring us a really fresh and sheer floral fragrance with a strong and smooth warmth.

Michael Kors White Eau de Parfum – The Notes

Top Notes – Violet leaves, freesia, ylang, dewy green, hint of aldehyde

Heart Notes – Gardenia Brazil, jasmine Egypte, tuberose, white peony

Base Notes – White Musk, tonka bean, vanilla, amber, cedarwood

I liked this as soon tried it…I really liked it. Bear in mind, it is a pretty powerful blend, so go lightly when you first try it. I love a strong perfume because I like it when I can smell it on myself, and with this one, a single spritz is enough to achieve that perfectly fragranced glow.

Less is more with Michael Kors White Eau de Parfum, which is a good thing if you want to make your investment last! I love the fresh and green opening notes with the violet leaves. You get a super feminine, soft floral heart with a smooth and creamy dry down.

I think this would be a glamorous evening fragrance for me. It lasts really well which I love.

Michael Kors White Eau de Parfum is available now at Boots – 30ml is £39, 50ml is £57, although Boots currently have the 50ml discounted to £51.30. If you love white florals, particularly gardenia and tuberose, then this is for you.
