I remember when Baby Lips first hit UK shores and it was terribly terribly exciting. I think it was that combination of a very easy to use, affordable product and of course the idea that it would actually give you Baby Lips. They are fab. Next came the Electro versions which I wanted so much that I specially hunted them out in the States. Well this is the next evolution of the product. Here is Maybelline Baby Lips Blush and Balm. They are very cute.

It’s the kind of thing where you are just going to want to buy them all!!

So you guessed it, this is a 2-in-1 product:

Although the packaging is all about that sweetie look, it is actually more than a gimmick because the shaped, pinched lid actually makes application really easy. You just hold it by the coloured part, and then swipe on to the lips and cheeks.

The above shade is called 01 Innocent Peach and there are 3 other shades in the line up that have all been designed to give lips and cheeks a beautiful healthy, glowy pop of colour.

As you can see, the Maybelline Baby Lips Blush and Balm gives the skin a very pretty sheer hit of colour in a fresh and dewy finish.  This is a lovely soft sheen on the lips and a glowy, juicy finish on the cheeks which is great for waking up a matte base and giving the skin a really youthful radiance. It blends really easily.

When I went to the Tom Ford presentation a few weeks ago, SS16 skin was described as the dewy, sheeny look you get when you have been dancing on a hot dance floor. This product is perfect for that. Another key trend is shade harmony over the face, so matching lips and cheeks are the order of the day!
