Max Factor are responsible for some of my favourite high street mascaras. The original False Lash Effect definitely deserves it place in the affordable lashes hall of fame, and so I am always keen to try out the franchise’s latest innovations. The most recent launch is the new Max Factor Voluptuous False Lash Effect Mascara. I have some before and after photos to share with you. Here are the details – available to order online HERE.

Max Factor Voluptuous Features

• Instant lift and volume
• Patented Lash Uplift Brush with alternating fins and bristles
• Lashes are 5x more volumised &  lifted from the base

It’s a super black formulation and the brush is pretty big.

I have become so used to slimmer brushes that I find bulkier ones like these a little scary! I just have to be careful not to touch the lid with the wand, so it’s best not to do this in a rush.

The first coat has a light effect, but for me it all happens in the second coat. Here are some pics.

These are fairly light coats, and it doesn’t take too many runs of the wand to achieve quite a dramatic effect. The lashes stay really soft and flexible in feel I found, and it lasted very well throughout the day.

I like it! I think I still prefer a smaller brush, just for ease of application, but if you can handle a bigger wand, then Max Factor Voluptuous False Lash Effect Mascara is definitely one to try.
