I featured the brand new Max Factor Facefinity All Day Primer SPF20 last month when I spotted it backstage at London Fashion Week. I have a sample now so can tell you a bit more about it.

Here’s a look at the texture and also I thought it would be interesting to look at before and after photos to see whether there’s any noticeable difference on the skin before makeup is applied. I also have a photo with foundation on top.

Max Factor Facefinity All Day Primer SPF20 is defintiely one for you if you don’t like the silicone feel that some primers have – this has none of that at all and it actually feels quite cool and hydrating whilst very lightly mattifying (thanks to micro correctors that absorb sweat and sebum to help maintain the finish of the foundation).
Here’s a before and after shot – as you can see, it is mattifying but not too matifying. I also think it is quite perfecting and the pores on the right look slightly less noticeable and the under eye area is a touch smoother.

And here is a shot with foundation applied but not powder.

I like the finish and much to my delight, it is not too matte and still allows the skin to glow. It defintiely made the foundation last longer and Mel Arter, Max Factor makeup artist says it acts like velcro on the skin to ensure the makeup stays in place and the finish is maintained.
I think you can use a bit less foundation which means you can look flawless yet really natural at the same time. I love the fact that it has SPF20 too.
Max Factor Facefinity All Day Primer SPF20 will launch in April 2014 for £10.99. Find Max Factor at Boots.
