My Review

- Doesn’t smudge / good for lower lashes
- Dries down quickly
- Gives good length
- Easy to remove
Is it easy to apply?
This mascara has a nice long hourglass wand that I find quite easy to use. I am a nightmare with mascara application, and always manage to get it on my lids, but the brush on Max Factor Divine Lashes Mascara actually makes mess quite easy to avoid for some reason.
I think it could be even easier if the wand was a tiny bit shorter.
It’s not a flexible wand which I like as it gives me a bit more control. One light coat gives a nice feathery, wispy look, and you can layer it up with ease for more drama.
Does it deliver length and volume?
I think this formula is both lengthening and volumising with more of an emphasis on lengthening.
As I said above, one coat gives a nice wispy look that looks really natural. And you can add more coats to build up the volume.
It will clump, as all mascaras do, if you keep going with the coats, but it’s really down to the kind of look you are going for.
Does it smudge?
I have tested this over a couple of days and haven’t noticed any problems with it staying in place. It hasn’t flaked or smudged and the performance has been really good.
Is it hard to remove
I haven’t yet tried the waterproof version of the Max Factor Divine Lashes Mascara, as the need hasn’t arisen, but the regular formula comes off easily with my cleansers.
I tend to use a cleansing oil or balm for makeup removal, and this works well on this mascara.
