There’s really no denying that fragrance is one of my guilty pleasures. There is not much I like more than a new bottle of scent to become obsessed with. Pair a lovely scent with a pretty bottle and you’ve got me chucking my money out to buy it. I imagine to most that the Marc Jacobs Daisy line needs absolutely no introduction! The perfume first burst into the high street back in 2007 and since then it’s gone from strength to strength. The brand has experimented with the Daisy scent for the last 10 years and they are back in 2017 with something really quite special. The Marc Jacobs Daisy Kiss Eau de Toilette is inspired by romance, designed to enchant women who live for love. The whole collection was inspired by the vivid bursts of colour in Marc Jacobs Resort fashion collections. Which means the perfume arrives in a hot pink box and is finished in the classic Marc Jacobs typography.

When you unbox the perfume you are greeted by a hot pink perfume bottle, which is almost ombre. It is topped with the iconic flower crown that we know and love from Marc Jacobs’ Daisy. The bursts of colour are just beautiful and they look pretty and playful whatever the weather.

The fragrance itself is a pretty blend of fruity and floral notes and it’s been created to inspire women to love deeply. The new fragrance was created by perfumer Richard Herpin of Firmenich – a blend of floral and fruity notes, paired effortlessly with a woody-musky background. The fragrance begins with top notes of valentine pomelo, apricot nectar and dewy violet. The heart of the fragrance is very floral, with notes of osmanthus flower, white peony and pink rose. The fragrance ends with cedarwood, ambrox and musk.
