Oh my goodness, I fell in love with the palette from the Marc Jacobs Beauty Spring 2020 collection straight away!! ! It’s called Fantascene and it’s aboslutely delicious! There are also Highliner Liquid Gel Eyeliners and the new (Re)Cover Hydrating Coconut Lip Oil.  I have it all here with photos and swatches for you.

What’s in the Marc Jacobs Beauty Spring 2020 Collection?

I love the striking white packaging of this season’s Eye-conic palette. I’m obsessed with these kind of neutrals and metallics, and although I didn’t think I had room for another neutrals palette, I completely have room for Fantascene! I actually missed out on this palette when it first launched because it sold out so fast. It’s great to see MJ bringing it back for Spring.

Marc Jacobs Fantascene Limiited Edition Eye-conic Palette Swatches

This is a real stunner. There is a beautiful mix of nudes and metallics in four different finishes – buttery matte velvet, shimmering satin, sparkling silk and metallic lamé.

The shades are:

• Flesh
• Covets
• Fantasy
• She Said
• Meet Ya
• For More
• On the Dancefloor

I absolutely love these shades and I think the edit is put together beautifully. The formula is so good – the shadows are silky-smooth and densely pigmented. The finishes include matte velvet, a satin, a silk and a metallic. They’re amazing! It is such a chic, wearable colour range and the metallic shimmer is incredible.

Marc Jacobs Highliner Liquid Gel Eyeliner Swatches

There are five shades in this new formula which is a liquid gel version of MJ Beauty’s bestselling Highliner gel eye crayon. The formula is waterproof with a unique shiny finish. They are calling it a highlighter for the eyes. The new shades are:

• Mo’cha
• Berry Deep
• Back to the Fuchsia
• Twinkle
• Jelly Much

I haven’t actually tried these on my eyes yet as I am not great with liquid liner and my eyes aren’t the best shape (sadly) for a cat eye. I do know, however, that the formula is very durable and I had to work pretty hard to remove the swatches!

Marc Jacobs (Re)Cover Hydrating Coconut Lip Oil

This is perfect if you want glossy, juicy, plump-looking lips, without stickiness. It offers up an immediate hit of hydration and can be used alone, to prep lips for lipstick application, or to add high shine on top of any lip colour.

The doe-foot is so lovely. It flexes on the lips in a super satisfying way and delivers the perfect amount of product. It isn’t too coconutty in terms of fragrance, so it’s really pleasant to use. Even if you’re not a massive fan of coconut, I think you could still like it.
