Makeup54 is an all new makeup brand created by former NARS Global Artist, Anna Priadka. It launches with a stunning yet concise range of long stay matte fluid lipsticks in four gorgeous shades and an amazing twinkling lip topper. If you want to step away from the crowd and have a different answer when asked what lip you’re wearing, then this is where you need to go.

The brand started as an Instagram page in 2015, where Anna celebrated her love of bold 70s and 80s inspired makeup looks.

This evolved into the launch of the debut lip range and I have to say, I am so impressed with the products. They apply so beautifully, dry down really quickly to a comfortable velvet matte finish, and then lock in place until you take them off.

Makeup54 Disco Liquid Lipstick Swatches

There are four disco shades – disco red, disco pink and two disco nudes, and a glitterball topcoat. They are:

• Jerry – bright blue red
• Ross – magenta pink
• Elvira – peach pink nude
• Gaynor – caramel nude
• Glitterball topper – rose gold sparkle

I have two distinct favourites – Jerry and Elvira – and I love them both with and without the topper. So far I have only tried the topper really lightly, but I am looking forward to going full on for party season. A light layer gives a subtle sparkle.

Just a quick note – I really thought that the topcoat wand would get discoloured by the lipstick as it was applied, but the matte colour is so transfer-proof that it doesn’t affect it at all! Brilliant!
