There’s a brand new limited edition face palette from Makeup Forever that has everything you need to highlight, sculpt and blush the skin and it is super gorgeous. Here’s what you need to know about the Makeup Forever Glitzy Palette. I have photos and swatches of all the shades.
This is a really practical and beautiful palette. It will suit a range of skin tones for a variety of different looks from really natural to more intense and dramatic.
There are some absolutely stunning shades in there with matte and shimmer finishes.
Makeup Forever Glitzy Palette Steps
So Makeup Forever have created four steps to sculpt the complexion:
- highlight the cheekbones, bridge if nose, middle of forehead & chin
- contour under cheekbones, jawline, temples
- blush on the cheeks
- add a touch of glitz with shimmer

Makeup Forever Glitzy Palette Shades
- Highlight (matte) – Eggshell & Banana
- Sculpt – Sepia & Mocha
- Blush – Peach Blossom & Warm Rose
- Glitz – Pink Gold, Golden Taupe, Golden Sand
The palette is organised in a way that makes it easy to use for different skin tones. The top row caters to paler skins, while the middle row is more suited to deeper skin tones. Of course you can also mix and match if you want to.
The bottom row contains all shimmery highlighters, or the glitz, as MUFE is calling them. They are for when you want to add a bit more shine and drama and each of those shades is great for the lids too.
Makeup Forever Glitzy Palette Swatches
I have swatched the shades by row so you can see how the step 1, 2 and 3 shades work together.
Top row – Eggshell, Sepia & Peach Blossom:
Middle row – Banana, Mocha & Warm Rose:
Bottom row highlighters (Glitz) – Pale Gold, Golden Taupe & Golden Sand:
I love all these shades. Eggshell and Sepia are good highlight and contour shades for me and I absolutely love both the blushes.
The highlighters are absolutely beautiful. I think I can wear all three, however, I’d say Pale Gold is most suited to my pale skin tone.
This is a great palette because you don’t see many matte highlighters these days, and as well as being great for adding brightness, they are also brilliant for setting makeup where you need to. It makes for a very comprehensive collection of shades and textures.
The Makeup Forever Glitzy Palette is available exclusively HERE for £43.50 (but with 10% off at the time of writing).
