If you haven’t come across a MAC Trend Forecast palette before, then you’ll find this really interesting because they are actually put together for the MAC artists to use backstage at Fashion Month. It’s our opportunity to get close to the insider take on makeup and I love it! The MAC Trend Forecast Fall 2016 palettes eyes and lips are swatched here for you.

So what you get is a hand-picked range of shades, all in a cream colour formulation and a super sleek palette. There’s one for eyes and one for lips.

The eyes

The formula features medium, buildable colour with Cream Colour Shadow formulas. FW16’s hand-selected colours range from camel to deep forest green, including Just Maybe, My Soft Spot, Vanity Fab, Plumplexed, An Ode To Love and Glory Of The Glen:

The Lips

This palette uses the Casual Colour formula. Colours range from lavender-mauve to deep reddish brown, including Blonde Mink, Fun Happens, Cool To Be Cool, Coppertized, Sultry Move and Aubergenius:

I just love these palettes. If you like cream shadow – these are great because they offer a sheer formula that sets, lasts and doesn’t crease. I am also a fan of the Casual Colour formulation – it is really nice and hydrating and works well on cheeks as well as the lips.
