There’s a brand new Retro Matte Liquid Lipstick around and this one is all about the metallics. I have some brand new shades of the just launched MAC Retro Matte Liquid Lipcolour Metallic. Check out my photos and swatches right here.
So this newbie comes in the same sleek packaging of the original matte liquid lipsticks. The tops look like the regular MAC lipstick lid, however it is actually houses a gorgeous flock applicator.
It is perfectly shaped for lining and defining the lips.

MAC Retro Matte Liquid Lipcolour Metallic Swatches
I have three of the new shades to show you, Pearl Punk, Silver Spoon and Metallic Rose. Pearl Punk is my favourite as it’s so wearable. It is a beautiful dusty pink with metallic dimension that makes it more interesting than your average nude shade.
Silver Spoon is for the braver ones among us as it is a metallic charcoal grey. It isn’t something I could wear at all.
Metallic Rose is a soft mid-toned pink and also really wearable.
With matte liquid lipsticks, it is important to prep and moisturise your lips, and this is also the case with this product. I like to do a little lip scrub and a slick of balm, and this keeps my lips feeling smooth and comfortable.
