MAC Nutcracker Sweet Collection Rewiew & Swatches

MAC Nutcracker Sweet is one of the prettiest collections for Christmas 2016 and it is huge! I have a few of the pieces to show you and the packaging is gorgeous. Check out my photos and swatches right here.

MAC says “Leap into a magical land that’s a bit nutty, a little naughty, bursting with whimsy. Lose yourself in an eccentric kingdom of oversized treats and rosy-cheeked nutcrackers. Twist, turn and tumble deeper into the Land of Dolls.”

I think the best things in life are a bit nutty and a bit naughty, so this is definitely the collection for me!

MAC Nutcracker Sweet Collection Contents

As I said, it is a fairly extensive collection. It’s so big in fact that I have decided not to list it all because, whilst it looks beautiful in photos, an extremely long list doesn’t make particularly interesting reading!

There are lots and lots of limited edition sets. I don’t have them but the ones that look particularly gorgeous are the Nutcracker Sweet Nude Mineralize kit and the Nutcracker Sweet Plum Retro Matte Kit. They are really good value so definitely check them out. 

There are also three Nutcracker Sweet eyeshadow compacts – a cool, a warm and a smoky. The packaging is amazing.

In the core collection, there are five MAC Nutcracker Sweet lipsticks in a range of finishes. I have one matte and one cremesheen finish to show you. Also there are five Magic Dust Eyeshadows – I have shade Dark Lullaby here to show you.

Intense cool red.

Midnight purple.

I love this collection. It is vibrant and vivacious and right up my alley. Because it’s so colourful and elaborately packaged it will make wonderful Christmas presents and stocking fillers.
