I have been sitting on these samples of the MAC Matchmaster Shade Intelligence Compact Foundation because I was hoping to get a shade that matched my skin tone, however, the press office only have a couple of shades available right now. So failing before and after photos, I thought my observations along with these shade swatches would be useful for now.

MAC Matchmaster Shade Intelligence Compact Foundation Swatches

I have shades 3.0 and 5.0 to show you from the 12 shade range:

The foundation has a lovely light and fluid texture and the coverage appears to be natural looking and sheer, yet still quite buildable. As I mentioned earlier, I haven’t been able to try this on my face because I don’t have the right shade, so it isn’t really possible for me to say how it performs. My first impressions are pretty good, however.

The original launch date for the MAC Matchmaster Shade Intelligence Compact Foundation was February, but most recently I heard that the on-counter date for the UK had been pushed back to March 2016. I guess you will need to keep your eyes peeled.
