I have been stalking these little beauties since the end of last year because the little sneak peeks I have seen are just so inviting. I do love lip exfoliators because they genuinely take lip care to a whole new level and seeing as MAC have some amazing mattes in their lipstick portfolio, it’s definitely a launch that complements their core offering.

Incidentally, MAC are adding new shades to their amazing Retro Matte Liquid Lip Color at a similar time, so it is good timing.

I love that the packaging matches the shade of the scrub and this one smells amazing. I couldn’t resist having a little taste! I find popping a bit on, leaving it for a few minutes (whilst trying not to eat it), then doing another scrub before wiping it off works the best. It gives the product a chance to soften any dry skin before sweeping it away, and following with balm. It’s hard not to have a little taste while you’re doing it though! Whilst it’s made of sugar, I’m pretty sure you shouldn’t really eat it.

I find a little prep like this goes a long way with lots of beauty related products. Have you tried a hand exfoliator before applying hand cream? It makes for much softer and smoother hands. You can use a bit of body scrub if you don’t have a hand one.

MAC Lip Scrubtious launches 23rd February 2017 for £12.50 each. BUY IT HERE
