Exciting! I have been waiting for this collection to launch ever since I heard news back in May that MAC were planning to launch new shades of Strobe Cream! Strobe Cream was my first highlighting obsession and now the new MAC In The Spotlight Highlighter collection is firing up all the old feelings ten fold! Here’s the lowdown on the shade range plus details on the new Extra Dimension Skinfinish powder highlighters.

Strobe Cream has been the pioneering product in radiant skin since it launched rather a long time ago. I remember when I first laid eyes on the name. I had visions of my cheekbones being spotted from outer space! The new collection features the same skin-loving formula – powered with potent botanicals, antioxidants and iridescent pearl particles – in new shades of peach, silver, red and gold. Yay!!

There are also four new shades of Extra Dimension Skinfinish to get excited about! It’s glow time!

MAC Goldlite Strobe Cream Swatch

I love the gold tone in this – it is so flattering. The formulation is super light so you can use it all over the face as a primer, or mix it into your foundation for a glow boost. It also works very well on it’s own and can subtly brighten and warm a pale complexion in a thin layer. You can also layer it over over makeup for some real highlit accents on the skin.

MAC Beaming Blush Extra Dimension Skinfinish Swatch

This is such a pretty shade of highlighter. It comes off quite pink in the pan in some shots but it looks more gold in real life.

I am loving this! The cream and the powder work beautifully together and also Beaming Blush makes a wonderful one swipe lid shade. I am so happy about this new collection!
