I was absolutely obsessed with the bouncy blushers in this collection when they launched last year! So I was really keen to get my hands on the new MAC Glow Play Lip Balm range. I have lots of shades and swatches here to show you. Enjoy!

So we had a lovely sneak peek at this new lip formula in the very gorgeous MAC Black Cherry collection. The Limited edition Spring launch contained four of the new balms in special Black Cherry packaging and it’s absolutely lovely. I am thrilled to have more shades from the core collection now.
The new balms join the absolutely Glow Play Blushers which give the skin a juicy flush that is super flattering.

MAC Glow Play Lip Balm Shades & Swatches
I have the six shades to show you here and they are all extremely pretty – I love them. There is even a really interesting clear one, that I didn’t think was worth swatching because it’s clear. But it turns out it has a very soft, almost gold, tint with sparkle that’s extremely pretty!

My Review of MAC Glow Play Lip Balm
I absolutely love a good tinted balm and these are gorgeous. At first, I was a little on the side of “oh no, not another tinted lip balm”, I’ll be honest, but I have to say the formula of these is excellent. MAC really are leaders in the lip category, and it shows in both the application, experience and finish of these balms.
They are super soothing and nourishing, like true balms, and I love that even the clear option has very pretty soft sparkle running through it. It’s a clear balm with just that something extra.
My favourite shades are Floral Coral and Grapely Admired. If you like a real nude, then Sweet Treat will do the trick, however, I find it a little light for my skin tone.
MAC Glow Play Lip Balm keeps my lips feeling soft and smooth for a good few hours before I need to reapply, and the formula is so forgiving that you can easily top up without a mirror. Love them.
