MAC Alluring Aquatic Collection Review & Swatches

Right! I have been completely wowed by the MAC Alluring Aquatic Collection. I’m not going to lie, I  was utterly sucked in by the packaging at first, however, I am thrilled to say that the colours and textures have seriously not let it down. I am in love!!

Oh my goodness, just take a look at the packaging. Beautiful vibrant metallic teal with the most realistic water droplet effect – it is truly aquatically alluring!

It is quite a large collection. MAC Alluring Aquatic brings us 5 lipsticks, 5 Lipglasses, 2 Lip Pencils, 6 Extra Dimension Eye Shadows, 2 Pearlglide Intense Eye Liners, 2 Bronzing Powders, 2 Extra Dimension Bronzing Powders, 2 Extra Dimension Blushes, 3 Nails Lacquers and 2 Brushes. Pretty impressive.

This is a gorgeous creamy matte lipstick. It isn’t drying and lasts really well on the lips. MAC describe it as a mid-tone neutral pink. For me it’s a very wearable nude and very kind to my pale complexion.Next we have the MAC Alluring Aquatic Lipglass in Water Deities:

This is a a beautiful bronze nude with pink tones.  I love this and it’s the perfect every day warm toned nude gloss.For cheeks I have the MAC Alluring Aquatic Extra Dimension Blush in Seduced at Sea.

I adore the texture of MAC Extra Dimension Blush. It is described as liquid-powder blush with prismatic reflections and if you’re unfamiliar with this, think Clinique Cheek pops but more lustrous. I’ll show you this on soon.

It is beautifully soft, heavily pigmented and really blendable. I absolutely cannot wait to try this on my eyes. When I say it is well pigmented I mean that swatching is believing!

As far as I am concerned, there is nothing not to love about this collection. I love this look on MAC – bright and zingy with special effects, and the shades and finishes are just gorgeous. I can’t wait to play more!
